Providence Health & Services Senior Clinical Data Analyst in Burbank, California
Providence is calling a Full Time, Day Shift Senior Clinical Data Analyst to Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center in Burbank, CA.
In this position you will:
Support quality and patient safety improvement efforts in Southern California Region through generating and analyzing relevant clinical quality data, identifying key trends and opportunities, collaborating with Regional and Ministry Quality Team to drive improvement effort and monitor progress.
Leverage technology platform to build efficiency and develop integrated reports / dashboard to support quality of care improvement.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor's Degree in nursing, healthcare, business or related field or equivalent education / experience
2 years experience in clinical health care including direct experience in performance improvement and clinical data analysis
Experience with clinical databases and patient outcomes measurements
Must be flexible to handle a variable workload, deadlines, and priority changes
Must be able to work effectively with all members of healthcare team.
Excellent computer skills are required including proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
Must be able to handle multiple tasks, directions and be able to follow-through.
Good communication skills both verbal and written
Ability to build relationships and gain alignment for clinical support from peers, third-party vendor, and clinical leaders
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Experience with information technology applications, database management
Database management and programming skills
