Providence Health & Services Learning Administrator PSJH in Burbank, California
Providence St. Joseph Health is calling a Learning Administrator to join our team. This role can sit in AK, WA, OR, MT or CA.
We are seeking a Learning Administrator to be responsible for administering learning programs that support PSJH education goals in the Learning Management System. In collaboration with PSJH stakeholders the Administrator is responsible for administering logistical aspects for learning programs using the infrastructure systems and tools to manage PSJH system-wide education delivery. Support tier 2 help desk questions in regards to learning technology, troubleshoot system issues.
In this position you will have the following responsibilities:
Collaborating with PSJH stakeholders creates classroom templates, program evaluations, post test, attachments, videos and eLearning. Manages the CE process related to the Learning Management System learning modules. Works closely with education coordinators and customers to design and implement educational course assignments.
Support and manage processes for publishing eLearning content, set up courses and trouble shoot technical issues when needed. Manage the course catalog and devolve a active course catalog matrix by ministry/region/system.
In collaboration with stakeholders coordinate required/mandatory education reporting to help ensure compliance and completion. Ensure education records are accessible by managers and staff as systems allow, and as needed, compile and distribute required education reports to managers, including projected education requirements and delinquency reports. Develop annual education assignment racetracks and annual partner with stakeholders to review and determine continuing assignment need.
Responds and troubleshoots tier 2 help desk incidents related to the LMS programs by researching cause of incident and resolving, facilitating resolution or referring to the appropriate resources.
Provides high quality customer service to all recipients of educational information, programs, and services.
Responsible for the overall operations and maintenance of the Learning Management System. Including but not limited to ensuring all classroom activities are graded in a timely manner, learning assignments are monitored and ended accordingly, eLearning courses are reviewed annually and that the course catalog includes only active current courses.
Provides coordination support for learning programs at PSJH. This includes but not limited to the coordination of class scheduling, securing and booking conference rooms as needed, registration management, tracking and managing participant lists, and grading classes.
Required qualifications for this position include:
H.S. Diploma or GED Liberal Arts.
At least 2 years of experience in Learning management software (HealthStream preferred), database management products and problem solving/troubleshooting skills.
Demonstrated organization, verbal and written communication skills.
Must have strong interpersonal skills to be able to effectively serve the customers.
Must have working knowledge of software applications such as Excel, Access, HealthStream, and Publisher Microsoft Office, spreadsheet, database and presentation applications.

Participate with regions and the system on-line learning collaborative/work group, traveling to participate in person as needed.

Enhance professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, current literature, in service meetings, and workshops.
Attend meetings as required and participates on committees as directed.
Cooperate with other personnel to achieve department objectives and maintain good employee relations and interdepartmental objectives.
Assist with care and maintenance of department equipment and supplies.
