Providence Health & Services Donor Relations Coordinator - Foundation in Burbank, California
Providence is calling a Full Time, Day Shift Donor Relations Coordinator - Foundation to Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center in Burbank, CA.
In this position you will:
Provide event related support to Providence Holy Cross, Little Company of Mary, Tarzana, and Saint Joseph Medical Centers.
Assist in various event production duties including RSVP tracking, silent and live auction, mailings, finance tracking and special projects for up to five major fundraising events per year, as well as donor appreciation and stewardship events for the Southern California region of Providence St. Joseph Health.
Be responsible for data entry, tracking and RSVP coordination for Foundation Special Events, and experience with Donor Software – Raisers Edge or, preferably, Blackbaud CRM – as well as Microsoft Excel is preferred.
Manage RSVPs and Data Entry for multiple events concurrently, including golf tournaments, galas, and others, as well as day-of components such as name tag and guest list generation, and event follow up.
Have direct contact with donors, volunteers and other supporters and must have excellent customer service and communication skills and a positive upbeat attitude.
This position also interacts with colleagues from multiple Medical Centers, Foundations and Shared Services Teams throughout Providence St. Joseph Health. The ability to collaborate with a variety of individuals and teams is key
Over time, the DRC will be giving increasing responsibility, and will grow to independently coordinate event elements and entire events.
The DRC will be expected to attend evening and weekend events off site in the valley, south bay, and other areas of Southern California.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Excellent organizational skills with ability to juggle multiple projects
Fine attention to detail
Experience with CRMs – preferably Blackbaud CRM – data entry, pulling reports, etc.
Fluent in MS Office Suite, especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint
Excellent communication skills
Problem solving skills
Fundraising event planning experience and understanding of best practices as it relates to fundraising through special events
Ability to work independently toward predetermined goals and objectives
Excellent computer skills, including experience with mail merges, tracking finances and other elements in Excel, and applications in Word, PowerPoint and Adobe, are necessary
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor’s degree in communications, nonprofit management or a related field
Experience in event logistics, especially silent and live auctions
